Beond is a residential treatment program in Mexico for people who experience challenges with substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other severe behavioral conditions.
Conditions like these are the result of both physiological (chemical) and psychological (behavioral) factors, and Beond’s treatments address both, to help clients uncover the source of suffering, and begin long-term physical health and spiritual wellness.
Most Beond treatments involve ibogaine therapy, which has been clinically demonstrated to treat drug addiction and other behavioral conditions. Ibogaine has temporary psychedelic and spiritual effects. The acute psychedelic effect lasts only while the treatment is underway, but can result in both physiological and psychological changes that persist long after treatment, helping clients modify self destructive behaviors and achieve lasting change and long-term recovery.
Beond treatments are conducted in an advanced medical facility under medical supervision, according to strict safety protocols, at one of our treatment centers in Mexico. We are in Cancun, accessible via direct flights from the United States. Additional centers are opening in 2023.
Beond treatment programs are customized for each client’s condition and often involve the administration of ibogaine, a plant-derived psychotropic plant medication, in a clinical setting by the world’s most experienced, licensed medical personnel. Ibogaine therapies presents temporary psychedelic effects, which directly contribute to its medical effectiveness in treating conditions such as substance use disorder, behavioral addictions and the effects of severe trauma related disorders.
Beond’s customized client care programs also involve 1:1 psychological counseling and social support s well as self-care practices that begin long before and continue after procedures with Ibogaine.

Our clients typically arrive a few days before treatment, and enjoy the property and programs for one week or longer, to recuperate from acute treatment and ensure that they receive the full benefit of treatment through robust guided integration practices. The Beond care continuum includes a customized regimen featuring medical assessments, psychological counseling, guided self-care, non-denominational spiritual reflection, and active peer support both before and after treatment. Beond believes in the importance of the client commitment to improving their physical and mental health while visiting our facilities and after they return home.
